New LISA Office in Singapore

LISA opened an office in October 2013 in Singapore 

As part of our international strategy to be in the heart of the Asian market and always close to our partners, LISA has opened an office in Singapore. The Director of Singapore Office, dedicated to the Asia-Pacific area, is Mr. Sven Hoegh Petersen. His scientific experience and his accurate technical knowledge in the development and manufacturing of nutritional products will be at LISA’s customers’ disposal.

His career in brief

Sven Hoegh Petersen began his career working in engineering companies projecting and designing Turnkey Dairy Plants for Danish Turnkey Dairies followed by projecting and selling food processing lines for APV.

He gained significant insight in the Infant Nutrition Industry working for Nestle for more than 16 years where he started as a trouble shooter and product developer. Later he worked as a production manager at the Hjorring plant in Denmark that was an export factory for Infant and toddler products followed by a job as the head of the application group. During that period he gained significant experience with development and manufacturing of products with DHA and Probiotics.

In 2002 he joined Arla Foods where he worked in R&D with infant formula manufacturing technology and formulations for a number of international customers. He invented and patented a method of reducing the spore content in a honey (United States Patent Application 20090053380) so it could be used safely in infant and child products.

In 2005 he took over the responsibility for Team Paediatrics at Arla Foods Ingredients which is a global team specialising in developing, manufacturing and selling milk based ingredients for the Infant formula Industry.

In 2011 he moved to Singapore as Director for the Global Technology Service Team at Wyeth Nutrition (Pfizer) which was the global team responsible for the technology development, trouble shooting and manufacturing technology for the 5 Nutrition sites.

He joined LISA in July 2013.
